TSV Hamm-Heessen sees the Kreisliga B soccer league as just a stopover and has its sights firmly set on promotion to Kreisliga A. After an almost perfect season with just one defeat, the aim is to capitalize on this momentum.
Bülent Karakaja, who has already won several championships, is an experienced coach. Despite the young squad, Karakaja is confident of mastering the challenge.
The squad currently comprises 28 players, of which ten are departures and 16 are new arrivals. It is to be reduced to 22 players by the start of the season. A first test match victory against VfL Schwerte (5:1) is encouraging, and further matches against Hammer SpVg II, TIU Rünthe and the district cup match at TuS Niederaden will follow.
