Police chief "on patrol" in Heessen

In 2024, Police Commissioner Thomas Kubera once again went "on patrol" through the districts, as he did recently in Heessen, accompanying the local district officers who know the districts best.

The first visit recently took place in Hamm-Heessen. To kick things off, the Chief Constable gained an impression of the Alfred Fischer Hall, which has been used as accommodation for refugees since January. During a tour of the premises, Thomas Kubera was able to talk to the people in charge and gain valuable new perspectives.

The tour with district officers Detlef Rittscher and Michaela Ryborsch then took them past the Sachsenhalle, the Waldbühne and the residential area around the Dasbecker Markt.

Heessen is a relatively quiet district, said Rittscher in conversation with the police chief. This impression is shared by his team partner Michaela Ryborsch, who regularly walks the streets of Heessen and, like her colleague, maintains close contact with the citizens.
