Dedication of the Church of Reconciliation in Heessen

At the beginning of the year, the presbytery decided to give up the church, which was inaugurated in 1970 and replaced the Gustav-Adolf-Haus. The congregation was informed of this in February. Now the Evangelical Church of Westphalia has also agreed to the deconsecration. This means that the Gellert-Haus remains the only place of worship in the parish, after the Dasbeck community center was closed back in 2011. There were protests from the congregation, which were opposed by the presbytery.

On June 30th, Superintendent Kerstin Goldbeck carried out the dedication.
